FORGE ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF LAKE CITY COMMONS

Forge Real Estate Partners IV, LP, a joint venture between Forge Capital Partners and The Sembler Company, has acquired Lake City Commons, a 91,494 square foot grocery anchored shopping center located in Lake City, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.

Lake City Commons is anchored by a Kroger supermarket that has operated at the property since its original construction in 1997 and recently affirmed its long-term commitment to the center by adding a fuel station in 2019. The property is located along the high traffic thoroughfare of Jonesboro Road, which connects nearby residents to I-75 for commuting throughout Atlanta. This asset is well positioned to benefit from the Atlanta metropolitan area’s continued economic expansion driven by high quality of life and low cost of living. The Fund Manager plans to create value through the lease up of vacant space and remerchandising of the tenant mix.
