FORGE ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF MERCHANTS SQUARE
Forge Real Estate Partners IV, LP, a joint venture between Forge Capital Partners and The Sembler Company, has acquired Merchants Square, a 118,984 square foot shopping center located in Riverdale, Georgia, a residential suburb of the Atlanta MSA.
The center is anchored by Kroger, one of the largest supermarket chains in the world. Kroger occupies 50% of the gross leasable area with the remaining inline space leased to a diverse mix of internet-resistant service, restaurant and retail tenants who have successfully operated at the property for an average of 12 years. The property is well positioned on Georgia Highway 85, a regionally accessible thoroughfare which provides access to Interstate 75, connecting south Atlanta residential communities to the central business district.
