Mr. Voss currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Forge Capital Partners. He is responsible for both the corporate accounting of Forge Capital Partners and its subsidiary companies, and the accounting of all the investments within the various Forge Real Estate Partners’ funds. He oversees the completion of the monthly close out process and reviews the financials to ensure the statements are recorded accurately and timely. In his role, he trains and develops the accounting staff and acts as the main point of contact on both the external audit and tax return preparation for the funds. Mr. Voss is also responsible for lender compliance reporting and assists in reporting to the investors on a semi-annual and annual basis. He maintains the fund cash accounts and is responsible for all the capital account contribution and distribution tracking.

Mr. Voss has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment management. Prior to joining Forge Capital Partners, Mr. Voss was an Assistant Vice President of AEW Capital Management, a privately owned real estate investment manager, in Boston, MA. In this role he was responsible for private equity accounting functions including month-end close processes, budgeting, reporting, and financial forecasting. He worked directly with external auditors and tax accountants to ensure proper internal controls, timely filings, and completion of audits.

Before joining AEW, Mr. Voss was a Senior Auditing Associate at RSM US (formerly McGladrey & Pullen, LLP). In this role, he planned and developed audit strategies, led and executed audit engagements, interpreted and applied GAAP laws and principles, and developed management advice comments for client improvement of quality of controls.

Mr. Voss received his Masters of Accounting and his B.S.B.A with a concentration in Accounting from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. In addition, he completed his Real Estate Finance Certificate from Boston University in Boston, MA. Mr. Voss is a North Carolina licensed Certified Public Accountant.
